该细胞是FoghJ和TrempeG分离和鉴定的众多人类肿瘤细胞系中的一种;该细胞来自一位11岁的白人女性的骨肉瘤组织。患者经过放疗以及氨甲喋呤、阿霉素、长春新碱、环磷酰胺和aramycin-C等多种药物治疗。该细胞在免疫抑制小鼠中不致瘤,细胞表达表皮生长因子EGF受体、转化生长因子β(1型和2型)受体。
