该细胞系来自可移植的雄性大鼠的肾上腺嗜铬细胞瘤;表达神经生长因子(NGF)受体,NGF可诱导该细胞产生可逆性的神经表型。该细胞可产生儿茶酚胺、多巴胺和去甲肾上腺素,但不合成肾上腺素。
